Candace Johnson is Vice President of Investment Management for Sage Investments. In her role, Candace oversees asset management and investment strategy for the Sage Investments assets, working closely with our investment partners. Candace joined the team in June 2022, bringing over 25 years of hospitality industry experience in the areas of asset management, valuation, feasibility, market and competitive intelligence, and operational analytics. Before joining Sage, Candace was a Vice President of Business Development with Benchmark Global, where she focused on the underwriting of hotel and portfolio acquisitions as well as several new development projects.

Prior to that, Candace held several positions with Two Roads Hospitality and Destination Hotels including Vice President Asset Management, Vice President Performance Optimization, and Strategic Planning Director. Her additional hospitality industry experience includes roles with HVS International, Ernst & Young, and Hirsch Bedner Associates. A native of Ithaca, New York, Candace earned her Master of Management in Hospitality and Bachelor of Science degrees from Cornell University.
