Murphy, MCD, CCC-SLP, is a seasoned speech-language pathologist with over 20 years of experience in rehabilitation services within skilled nursing facilities. Currently, she serves as the Regional Rehab Director for the Pikes Peak Region at Life Care Centers of America, overseeing rehabilitation programs across 10 facilities from Farmington, NM to Denver, CO. Holly is responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, program development, fiscal management, and leadership training while maintaining high-quality clinical outcomes for residents.
Her career includes roles such as Director of Rehabilitation Services, where she managed staffing, operations, and specialized program implementation. Previously certified as a Dementia Capable Care Instructor, Holly trained multiple facilities in dementia care best practices. She is passionate about teaching, mentoring staff, and fostering professional growth and leadership in her teams. A member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) since 2001, Holly holds a Master of Communication Disorders from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center and has earned multiple ACE Awards from ASHA for her commitment to continuing education. |
