High Performance Director, Sport PerformanceUnited States Olympic Paralympic CommitteeJulie Miller serves as a High Performance Director in the Sport Performance Division at the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC).
Miller is a thirteen-year veteran of the USOPC and supports eight summer Olympic sports. Miller leads a team of sport scientists who are charged with optimizing the ‘sustained competitive excellence’ portion of the USOPC’s mission. The team collaborates closely with Team USA’s best athletes, coaches and staff to provide expertise, resources and support with the goal of maximizing Team USA’s overall and gold medal count at each summer Olympic Games. Prior to her tenure with Sport Performance, Miller worked in the High Performance Division at U.S. Figure Skating and started her career at the USOPC as an Olympic & Paralympic Training Center Operations intern. She graduated from the University of Minnesota with a master’s in applied kinesiology with a focus in health and physical education and a bachelor’s in kinesiology with a minor in coaching. Miller currently resides in Montana with her husband and three young children. |
