CEO/Executive coachEmpowerleadKaren Collins is currently the Founder and CEO of Empowerlead, Inc. offering executive coaching and facilitation services to companies and individuals looking to align values and leadership action. She is also a published author of Day One: take the first step to living your life on purpose.
Concurrently, Ms. Collins is an Adjunct Professor of Leadership at the University of Denver and provides coaching services for Chief.com, a membership network for female executives. She is the former CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado, where she empowered significant organizational transformation that earned the organization the prestigious Agency of the Year and Board of the Year awards in tandem under her leadership. She has held additional positions with Philips, Blackbaud, Zuri Group, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. She received her B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coaching Federation. She actively serves on the Board of Directors for Craftsman Technology Group, an employee-owned consulting firm based in Boston, MA, on the Governing Board for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado, and as a Program Advisor for the University of Colorado - Colorado Springs Women in Leadership program. |
