Kathleen Herrmann, LCSW
Kathleen "Katie" Herrmann is a seasoned Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 30 years of experience in behavioral health and healthcare quality improvement. Currently serving as the Director of Social Work Services at UCHealth, Katie oversees medical social work practices, focusing on the recruitment, retention, development, and training of social work interns across the system. She began her journey with UCHealth in 2018 as the Manager of Inpatient Social Work Services at Anschutz Hospital before stepping into her current leadership role in 2021.

Katie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Ball State University and a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Georgia. Additionally, she has a Certificate in Mediation from Colorado State University. Active in her field, she is a member of the Society for Social Work Leaders in Healthcare and serves on the Board of Directors for the National Society for Social Work Leaders in Healthcare.
