Accounts Payable Manager

Yes Communities

My name is Maureen Franklin, and I am the Manager of Accounts Payable (AP) for Yes Communities where we process 12 to 14 thousand invoices a month with a team of six.   I have worked in accounting and accounts payable for most of my career.  I enjoy working with management, the team and all customers, focusing on best practices, processes and procedures to protect the company from overpayments and potential fraud.

I am passionate about mentoring young adults in their career and supporting them in their journey.  I have a master’s in business with an emphasis in accounting. and am certified in AP management and procurement. I am humbled and inspired by my two sons, their wives and my very large family and spend as much time as I can with my grandson.  In my spare time I crochet, sew and make wedding flower bouquets.
