Suzanne Detwiler is a Director, Business Strategy and Planning for the Financial Crimes organization at USAA responsible for executing initiatives, including analysis, oversight and support of business strategy development. Prior to joining USAA in 2020, Suzanne spend 17 years at Western Union serving in various roles in AML Compliance, Internal Audit and Transformation. Her responsibilities included budget management, creating strategic staff models and governance process over hiring workforce and staffing plans. 

Suzanne earned her MBA from University of Colorado and has a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising from Colorado State University. She is also CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Speclalist) certified and completed her Strategic Workforce Planning Certification from HCI. Suzanne also serves as Co-Programming Director for The Colorado Chapter of ACAMS.
