Regulatory Licensing Specialist

City of Fort Collins

Hi! My name is Talisa “Tee” Gula-Yeast (pronounced: Ta Lay sha), Please call me Tee.

My passion for inclusivity, and (yes) fun, collaboration, helping, and coaching others can be traced back to my pre-professional days. Whether as a member of my high school rowing crew or part of the adaptive recreation volunteer team at university, I’ve been on a collaborative, and helping path from the start. The reason? I like helping people and getting people excited about things I’m excited about. Right now, that is focusing on process improvements (Lean Six Sigma), or I like to call it “practical wisdom”. Currently, I am working at the City of Fort Collins Clerk’s Office as a Regulatory Licensing Specialist.

I specialize in cannabis (marijuana) business licensing and soon-to-be natural medicine (mushrooms) here in Colorado. I also sit on the State of CO Marijuana Social Equity Board, where we focus on reducing barriers to entry for all cannabis business licensees. Outside of the office, I’m committed to being a lifelong learner. I’m always looking forward to new information “411" so my life does not become “911”.

My background is diverse, with a specialty in counseling, recreational therapy, an events logistical guru, and most recently additional experience in the business world. I’m currently trying my hand at (side hustle) health and wellness coaching. I live a sweaty life and will probably “collaborate” or “help” you join me for a bike ride or a strength training class. Connect with me over LinkedIn for networking.
