With over two decades of experience as a local government official in Japan, Eiko brings a wealth of experience. Her extensive tenure at the City of Yamagata, where she predominantly served in International Affairs as a bilingual specialist, allowed her to spearhead numerous exchange programs between Yamagata and its sister cities, including the vibrant partnership with Boulder.

​Upon relocating to the United States, Eiko discovered her passion for the non-profit sector and, in 2017, joined Via Mobility Services. In her role as Development Coordinator, she is dedicated to Via's fundraising efforts, encompassing donor relations and database management.
Outside of work, Eiko enjoys hiking, camping, reading, and spending time with her family and her two dogs
