Dr. Melissa McDowell is a learning and development professional with proven success in developing, implementing, and managing large-scale training and development initiatives for organizations. Melissa currently serves as the manager of development and training at RTD, the Regional Transportation District in Denver, Colorado. Prior to RTD, Melissa worked in various capacities of learning and organizational development at Seton Hall University, Walden University, and Sponsors for Educational Opportunity.

​In her past roles, Melissa managed the learning and development lifecycle of organizations and executive leadership training. Melissa holds a B.A. in Political Science from Tuskegee University, an Ed.M. in Technology and Education from Harvard University, and a Ph.D. in Management/Leadership and Organizational Change from Walden University.
